What a surprise seeing you here!
Adam Woodyatt and Pollyann Tanner at the Swindon Panto 26 years on
It's always nice meeting old friends at the theatre, so thanks to Richard Wintle at Calyx Multimedia for these pictures showing two stars of the Swindon stage bumping in to each other - 26 years apart.
Adam Woodyatt - better known to millions as Ian Beale from Eastenders - is appearing this year at the Wyvern as Chambers in Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs, his second time here in the Panto after first starring in 1989.
His co-star that year in Mother Goose was well-known local actress and dancer Pollyann Tanner, who now runs the Tanwood School of Perforning Arts, founded by the her mother, Molly.
And the two met up again this week on opening night - looking back to 1989 like it was only yesterday.
"We had a brilliant time in Mother Goose," Pollyann said, "and it was so nice to see Adam again.
"He's a real star and it's great to see him back at the Wyvern, although I can't quite believe it was 26 years ago. And nor could he!"
The Panto continues in Swindon until Sunday 03 January. Ticket information via the link below.
